There's nothing one can say except what a terrible loss, and our hearts go out to his family.  This morning, Today did a terrific tape on the many visits Robin Williams made to the studio.  We got so excited every time he was booked on the show. We couldn't wait for his segment knowing it would be so much zany fun, maybe more for us than the viewers. I am so blessed and happy to have been there to see his genius at work, even though it was only for a few minutes every now and then over 25...

The big tree's arrival in Rockefeller Center makes me cringe.  For the 36th consecutive year, I will be battling the throngs that come to see that symbol of the Holiday season in New York City and make me slow down to a crawl to get around them.  But I'm hoping those throngs of people will help the 21st Annual Today Toy Drive spread joy to millions of children in the United States.
